Users without the physical device can also use the app independently to access its key social and community features. The NOMI companion device is designed to provide personalised support and companionship throughout an older adult’s daily life. Through voice commands, users can speak naturally to NOMI to receive assistance, set reminders, or access features without relying on a screen. Using its built-in camera and sensors, NOMI can understand the user’s surroundings and recognise facial expressions to support personalised check-ins and respond to how the user may be feeling. It can also proactively remind and check in on users throughout the day.

NOMI comes with a dedicated charging dock and a portable carry set featuring both lanyard and keychain attachments. Users can easily switch between the two, allowing NOMI to stay close by whether at home or on the go.
