Hampstead Gardens Spatial Design
A parcel of land at Hampstead Gardens is transformed into a nature-inspired retreat, designed to create a calming and welcoming environment where visitors can relax and reconnect. A natural palette of green tones and dark wood adds warmth, while preserved trees with built-in seating encourage organic interaction with nature.
This unique establishment will consist of seven modular cabins resembling shipping containers, referred to as “pods.” Six pods serve as accommodation rooms, while the service pod functions as a multifunctional hub with a café, reception, and a retail corner showcasing local merchandise.

The space balances social and private experiences. Communal areas like the BBQ zone foster gathering and conversation, while quieter spots such as the font and hangout areas offer solitude and reflection. Defined pathways and clear signage ensure intuitive wayfinding without disrupting visual harmony.
Sustainability is central to the design. Recycled wood is used for furnishings and structures, and energy-efficient lamp posts provide night-time ambience and visibility. Blending aesthetics, function, and placemaking, the space offers a meaningful retreat that promotes relaxation, connection, and appreciation of nature.
